Over several decades, remarkable achievements have been made to 2D materials for their optical properties that have various applications in optoelectronics like photo electrochemical cells, solar energy conversion, photovoltaic solar cells and optical sensors. The objective of this project is investigating the electronic and optical properties of 2D materials like MXenes for photovoltaic solar cells. Our group also aims to study MXenes with intensive emission properties in visible region.
